Demonstrating its expertise in risk management, CSE wrote an article for the latest issue of the german magazine “Werkstoffe in der Fertigung”: Risk management as an essential basic of the safe operation of plants and machines.
The author and CSE-Engineering employee Johannes Single discusses the general approach for conducting a risk analysis and determining the residual risk. It gives an overview about typical methods for risk determination that are commonly used in the industry as well as concequence analyses. The risk matrix, a graphic and important tool for the qualitative evaluation of risks shows if the safety concept is in the green zone or if improving measures have to be taken.
