Keynote speech with Manfred Mueller

„Are Humans the greatest Risk for severe Incidents?
Learnings from Aviation to avoid Human Errors“

Manfred Mueller can look back on more than four decades as an airline pilot at Deutsche Lufthansa AG. In addition to his work as a training captain on the Airbus A330, A340 and A350 aircraft types, he was head of flight safety research at Lufthansa AG for many years.

Manfred Müller has been a lecturer in risk management at Bremen University of Applied Sciences for two decades. He also teaches at the Chair of Flight System Dynamics and the Chair of Ergonomics at the Technical University of Munich.

In his presentations, Manfred Müller transfers his findings from risk management in aviation to the everyday lives of his listeners. The aim is to develop strategies for optimal error detection and error management and the development of low-risk work structures.

In 2020, Manfred Müller was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on Ribbon by the President of the Federal Republic of Germany for his wide-ranging commitment to risk management.

If a registration is canceled by 28.02.2025, the participation fee will be refunded. Cancellations received after this date will be charged the participation fee.
